it has been slightly more than a week since everything happened. I would say one it was one of the most trying weeks of my life - rushing in and out of the hospital, final exams, omega nite worship, gig rehearsals and a gig.
Somehow everything just seem to happen so fast, but yet, time just ticked away real slowly. Almost everything is still very vivid in my mind, from the time Grandpa went in to his passing, and some how, also seemed very surreal, like a dream. Every time close my eyes, images of him still appear, memories flash back.
The house is definitely very different now that he's gone, but yet I cling on to the promise that he is in a much better place, in His presence. There certainly is a tinge of sadness, but yet a joy and hope to know that salvation is here. Death is not the end. And throughout this entire time and process of grieving, the phrase that keeps popping in my mind is "..Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.." [Matt 6:10] and that He be glorified in something as uncertain and sad as death.
and indeed He was glorified.
Live Once, Die Twice
or
Die once, Live Twice
The death of Jesus on the cross and this salvation that God has given to us has certainly
made death beautiful.Goodbye Grandpa, we'll see you soon.
